Flinders has been proudly supporting the Buderim Anzac Day March since 1990.
We are encouraging as many students, staff and Old Flinderians as possible to attend this year's event, recognising the sacrifices made by our service men and women.
Anzac Day March | Saturday, 25 April
Meeting Point: Woolworths Carpark, Burnett Street, Buderim. Parents should note there will be road closures and the Woolworths Carpark is closed to traffic.
Meeting time: 8:00am to 8:15am. Please note: The March departs promptly at 8:30am.
Student Collection Point: Main Oval of Buderim Mountain State School at approximately 8:45am.
Students are encouraged to wear the service medals of relatives. If doing so, the correct protocol in this case is for the medals to be worn on the right side of the chest.
Anzac Day Service
The main Anzac Service will follow the March and be held from 9:00am in the pine forest of Buderim Mountain State Primary School. In the event of wet weather, the service will move to the BMSS Hall.
We look forward to having as many students, staff and Old Flinderians as possible marching alongside veterans and community organisations on the day.
